THEME 5: CERTIFYING SUSTAINABILITY |
Dr. Arthur Hanson delivered the keynote speech for Theme 5.
Discussions at the Certification and Fisheries workshop was facilitated by co-chairs Mr. Arun Abraham and Mr. Duncan Leadbitter.
BG Tay Lim Heng, CEO of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore shared his views on “ Balancing Safety Security and Marine Environmental Concerns with the Efficiency of Port and Shipping Operations.”
Mrs. Aunporn Poopetch of Bangkok Port presented on the "Management of Dangerous Cargoes in Ports: Bangkok Port's Experience."
Mr. Mark Van der Veen presented on the “Port Environmental Management in Vietnam and Cambodia."
At the workshop on Port Security, Safety, Health and Environmental Management.
Dr. Chua Thia-Eng, PEMSEA, with Datin OC Phang, chair of the Workshop on Port Security, Safety, Health and Environmental Management.
Dr. Hugh Kirkman gave an introduction during the Workshop on Clean and Safe Beaches, of which he was chair.
Dr. Wong Poh Poh and Dir. Allan Cañizal during the Seminar on Clean and Safe Beaches.
Ms. Carrie Dean shared her experience with the Blue Flag Programme.
Dr. Arthur Hanson delivered the keynote speech for Theme 5.
